The challenge
Visa's World Cup merchandise customization came to New York City on July 19, 2026. The booking covered 220 guests in two tiers: 175 general attendees and 45 VIP guests. Every one of them got a custom name and number on the back of a jersey, and the live window ran six hours, 1 to 7 p.m.
The activation
The booking called for four staff on four heat presses, with setup from 11 a.m. Names and numbers went on in DTF, from letter and number transfers that were ordered and picked up before the date. Guests entered their name and number on tablets at the counter, and VIP guests had their own priority line. The client supplied racks, ticket tags and markers, and Merch Troop provided the ordering software. The booking covered eight hours on site with setup and teardown.
The result
Both tiers got the same decoration, a name and a number on the back. The VIP side just had its own way in. With four presses side by side and orders coming off the tablets, the counter was built to keep a six-hour line moving.
