The challenge
Visa World Cup needed live jersey customization for 440 guests across two distinct tiers in Los Angeles. VIP attendees required individual name personalization pressed on-site. General attendees needed the same branded jersey experience at volume, all inside a five-hour activation window.
The activation
Merch Troop locked in DTF transfers ahead of the event — pre-cut letter sets, the LA logo graphic, and number transfers — picked up days before to eliminate any day-of sourcing risk. Four heat presses were on the floor by 8 a.m. The station went live at 10 a.m. and ran continuously through 3 p.m. A four-person crew managed dual-lane flow: 45 VIP guests received custom name drops pressed directly onto their jerseys; 395 general guests moved through the standard branded customization.
The result
All 440 guests walked away with a personalized jersey from the Visa World Cup activation. Seven hours on-site — setup through teardown — kept the production schedule tight and the guest experience consistent across both tiers.
