The challenge
The Los Angeles Rush needed 100 dog jerseys customized live during a three-hour fan event at The Autry Museum at Griffith Park. Each jersey required two print locations: a FIFA crest on the front with four design choices and a personalized name, number, and event date on the back. Everything had to be pressed and handed back in real time, on-site, with no pre-production.
The activation
Merch Troop arrived with two heat press machines and a two-person crew, building in time for full setup and teardown around the 4–7 p.m. activation window. The front of each jersey received a FIFA crest at approximately 4" x 4", selected from four distinct design options at the point of customization. The back received a name, number, and event date pressed in a single pass. Two machines running in parallel kept the line moving across the full three-hour window.
The result
Every jersey in the run was personalized and returned to guests during the live event. The dual-location format — four crest options up front, unique name-and-number on the back — delivered a keepsake with genuine personalization rather than a generic giveaway.
