The challenge
One client, three stops and two weeks in September 2025: northeastern Pennsylvania on the 6th, Denver on the 12th, and the Fort Worth area of Texas on the 20th. Each stop ran the same patch hat bar, sized to its own crowd: 80 hats in Pennsylvania, 200 in Denver and 450 in Texas.
The activation
Every guest got a premium trucker hat and up to three patches, and the crew pressed them on with a hat press at the table. The main patches were woven, at 2.5 and 2.75 inches, and Denver's stock was 100 of each size. A second set of small 1-inch patches came in four designs, 1,380 in total across the tour. The crews were one person in Pennsylvania, three in Denver and five in Texas, flying in with rental cars and hotels. Hats and equipment were shipped to each location. Denver ran as an evening session.
The result
The tour ran on one template: the same hat, the same patch menu, and a crew that went from one person to five as the hat count grew. In Denver, guests worked their way down a long table of white trucker hats and patch trays, building their own.
