The challenge
Guests arrived at United Theater on Broadway with their own jerseys and needed their names pressed on-site before leaving the event. The production window ran exactly four hours — 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM — with no margin for a slow setup day-of. Volume and throughput had to be locked in before doors opened.
The activation
Merch Troop sent a four-person crew to the venue the evening before the event to stage equipment and confirm the workflow. On June 11, the team opened a live heat press station at 3:00 PM using premade DTF name transfers. Each guest's jersey moved through the press and came back finished — name applied, transfer cured — within the event window. The advance setup eliminated day-of friction and kept the guest experience moving.
The result
All 230 jerseys were personalized during the four-hour window. The prior-day load-in meant the crew hit the ground running and the station never became a bottleneck inside the event.
