The challenge
The event required 320 custom T-shirts produced on-site at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego — not pre-printed and shipped, but finished live in the venue. That meant bringing a full production setup into an active hotel environment and running it start to finish on a single day.
The activation
Merch Troop put a four-person crew on the floor at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego on May 13. The team transported and staged full heat press equipment, then printed 10×12" DTF transfers onto white midweight ringspun tees throughout the event. All 320 pieces were produced on-site. The crew managed setup before doors and teardown after the final shirt came off the press.
The result
Every one of the 320 shirts was printed and handed off live at the venue. The crew handled the full production arc — equipment in, production run, equipment out — without pulling focus from the event itself.
