The challenge
The Palmdale Beer and Wine Festival needed a complete retail apparel program built around the event brand — not just printed goods, but a merchandised, staffed sales operation running through a five-hour evening window. The assortment had to cover multiple cuts for men and women, with decoration locked to approved artwork before production began.
The activation
Merch Troop came in on an upfront guarantee to produce, merchandise, and sell the program. The initial assortment — men's tees, hoodies, women's V-necks, and crewneck sweatshirts — was decorated using DTF heat press with a small front logo and a large back print. Final size and style mix was set against available inventory once artwork was approved, targeting 250 pieces going into the event. Two crew members ran the full retail floor at the Palmdale Amphitheater from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The result
A two-person crew handled production, setup, and sales for the entire five-hour run at the Palmdale Amphitheater. The upfront guarantee structure gave the festival a defined merchandise baseline before a single guest walked through the gate.
